>Would you like to see some of the sprites I had made before my computer got rid of them?
I'd like to see them ye.
I lost a sprite sheet back in 2001, but my harddrive was only 6GB back then.
My computer also couldnt handle the width I put everything at.
Lesson learned.
:o oh wow, I was just a baby in 2001 HAHA, its impressive if you've been doing sprite work for that long. Sorry you ended up loosing it, sounds like a real pain
@IrisOfTheRepliforce No probs! Also yeah, it really did suck. Most of my best work at the time was on that hard drive, including a fully animated set of sprites. It’s a good thing I had more than one hard drive in my PC otherwise I would’ve lost WAY more.

I for one wouldn’t mind seeing whatever you’ve got left. Something’s better than nothing after all, right? I mean you’ve definitely got it better than I do. I lost some of my sprites from way back in 2017 due to my old hard drive dying on me. It got me unmotivated to do any sprite work for close to a year after that. To this day I still wished I had uploaded the sprites somewhere online so that I’d have an archive, but such is life I guess. Anywho, if you’re willing to step outta your comfort zone a bit and are not already using these two programs, I highly suggest getting Paint.NET and Aseprite. Paint.NET is great for spriting and is free while Aseprite has the extra functionality of being an animation tool and is 5 bucks on Steam. But if you’re not wanting to spend any money then you’d be fine with just Paint.NET alone. I personally use Paint.NET for making sprites while I only really use Aseprite to test animation frames and make gifs of finished sprite animations. Anyways, I hope those programs work out for you if you haven’t already tried them.
