Hi there ^_^ this is Iris with what will be one of my last posts. If you didnt know, recently, a message appeared in my DMs:

At first, I thought this message simply meant I could not scout other artists anymore, which is a total bummer, but it is okay ^.^ I enjoyed scouting others, and Im not so sure if I did something wrong to get this message, but I accepted it. I still would like to know what went wrong, however, if it is possible.

HOWEVER

I did a bit of a test post, only to find that my art does not appear in the main part of the art portal anymore. I thought at first "well, thats okay, because someone will scout me again." However, this is not the case. It appears, my scouting position was never lost. In short this means I cannot be scouted again, and that my art will never appear on the main portal again. Basically, I'm stuck ^.^; not a good place to be in. This past new post explains a little bit from the bot message: https://irisoftherepliforce.newgrounds.com/news/post/1097435

I had scouted a lot of people, and I checked back after this had happened to find my scout numbers have gone down too. If any of my scouts are reading this right now, please tell me if youre doing okay, I dont want you to be punished by the bot as well.

So, what does this mean? Well, seeing as I'm stuck, I will no longer be able to upload art to the main portal, and have no chances of getting back. So, for now, and perhaps forever, I will no longer be uploading art. Hopefully if I find out what happens, I can upload again, but in the mean time, its bye for now ^.^ I will still be here on newgrounds to comment and favorite, of course and to chat too ^.^

I had just gotten a message from a newgrounds bot informing me I can no longer scout people. When I checked my scout count, I noticed it went down a lot too, meaning a lot of my scouts may have lost their status. I am not so sure what happened, did I do something wrong? Any information or explanation would be useful ^.^ thank you very much

Nice to see you all, I hope everyone reading this is doing well.

I don't necessarily have news, however this was something I wanted to talk about. About a year ago, around this time, I had began a small project for myself. As some of you know, I like to create Mega Man Xtreme custom and coloured sprites. Back then, I was working on creating an entire game dedicated to Mega Man Xtreme, it was going to be the entirety of X1 in the mega man xtreme style. This does sound like a lot, however, with the amount of Mega Man X1 content that is in the extreme series, remaking and reshaping sprites for myself would not be hard.

I had worked on a fair deal of things, making new sprites for X and Zero (the Zero sprite I would have used would be his X1 form in Xtreme style, similar to the Zero sprites I upload onto here).

I had a few sprites done, along with most of the stage select, I also had plans to make ALL songs in the series in Xtreme style, even the ones that already got the treatment in the original games using the Game boy color instruments.

However, my computer went maverick after a really bad crash >.< It had gotten rid of almost everything I had worked on, and even crashed while I was continuing to sprite the Maverick Stage select. The backgrounds, sprites and stage select I had worked on were almost all gone, with the exception for a sprite sheet of X and Zero I had made.

Although I did not have much done, it really got me down >.> I was in highschool at the time, and I had lost motivation to restart my game progress, and just gave up entirely.

I was considering remaking this project again, since I have the time. Most of the Mavericks in the X1 are in the xtreme series (Chill Penguin, Armored Armadillo, Storm Eagle, Spark Mandrill, Launch Octopus, Flame Mammoth, with the exception of Sting Chameleon and Boomer Kwanger ROFL, meaning most work would go towards making their sprites from the ground up)

Remaking all maverick sprites, making new backgrounds from the Xtreme games, and their attacks would be my main goal, along with making new music for every part of the game. I would love to hear Zero's theme again for myself in a new Xtreme style ^_^

It is unlikely I will ever finish what I started, but lately, I have been wanting to recreate this idea again, despite how long it may take. If I do end up continuing, and even finishing, I will upload it here on Newgrounds for you all to play ^_^

Hello everyone.

I'm sorry, I do not normally bring real world issues into my posts but for today, I wanted to spread awareness. As you may know, right now, Australia is in a great time of need. People and their families are loosing their homes due to wild fires, countless deaths of animals have taken place and the destruction due to the heat is insufferable.

Fires have spread from the forests. For those of you who don't know, the terrifying act of a wild fire can spring even from something as simple as dryness in the air and immense heat. These poor people have no where to go, and every form of life in Australia now is at great risk.

I don't like using the word "hate" often, but I honest to God hate dangerous climates and environments. As a Canadian, I am used to being terrified of incredible weather that can last for long amounts of time. This issue with Australia, however, is on a level that needs desperate attention.

As of now, many brave fire fighters have been deployed onto scenes of forest and wild fires. God bless them. And God bless the people of Australia.

Hello everyone ^_^ Happy 2020, I hope you enjoyed your new year's party.

This is just a quick update. I have deleted my personal discord server "Repliforce and Newgrounds". There isn't a drastic reason as to why I deleted it, it is mostly my fault. I am not very active on Discord anymore, due to a lot of weirdos in my DMs and being busy in general >.< and since my server was not too busy, I did not think anyone would miss the server if it got deleted. It is unlikely, but since I am on discord less, I would have felt bad if something important were to happen in there, and miss it. I have been busy with my friends and school lately, and only plan on talking to very close online friends through discord for sometime, as I have been for the past couple of months ^.^ I hope you all understand, but feel free to say Hi to me in the DMs here on Newgrounds if you would like. I may not respond right away, but I will try to say hi back ^-^

Hello ^_^ Merry Christmas, Newgrounds and all. I hope you all have a lovely holiday with your family.

As of right now, I have been trying to create sprites from certain games with opposite colour pallets from which they originate. For example, I would like to work on a series of Mega Man X sprites with the SEGA genesis colour pallet. However, the problem is, no website is being direct on what the colour codes are, and for these sprites I would really like to be precise. I have made game boy colour pallet images in the past (one I have posted here for a good friend of mine^_^) however, as of now, there are not many websites being direct on how to find exact numbers to produce pixels the colours of the SNES and SEGA genesis. If anyone knows these colour codes or how to find them, I would be very thankful. I mostly go to the spriters resource to look at things for reference before working on something.

Its nice to talk to you all here again, I wanted to ask you all if more Sonictchi sprites would interest you. I have already uploaded three of them as of now, and normally I do MMXtreme animations and sprites, however I have enjoyed creating ny own custom sprites for Sonictchi ^_^ he is very cute and easy to animate, which is why I have been giving him a lot of ideal animations a player might see when playing a Tamagotchi game. As of now, I have been doing some small animations of him for myself, and figured since I already upload a lot of him, to lay low on showing him as of now, however, I wanted to ask if this would be something you all would like to see. If you like, I can upload a lot of them, once I make more/the already made ones. I don't want to annoy anyone with the quantity of them if that isnt what they came to my profile for. I also will be returning to creating MMXtreme sprites as well ^_^

Let me know if you would like to see more Sonictchi, if so, I'll upload more of him

Hey everyone ^.^

It turns out the issue with the art portal is fixed. However, my friends and I were totally wrong with what caused this to happen. So it turns out, a massive content creator here on Newgrounds deleted their account, which forced their scouts and their scouts' scouts to loose their privileges, all this at once messed with the system >.< If you go over to my art page, you will see I was scouted by I-bot, meaning I was affected by the issue too. If any of my scouts are reading this, dont worry! I learnt that I-bot has saved a lot of people by scouting them when the person who originally deleted their account lost their scouts and so on. I hope they are doing well.

Tom said that in the future he would have our list of scouts appear under our names in the art section of our profile like before ^.^ which is fantastic, I would like to continue scouting people. Thank you to the team for all of your hard work, and I am sorry I mistook the Newgrounds update to have an impact on the art portal, it turns out, I do not think it was anything like that but who knows ^.^; ROFL
